Pansexual & Panromantic Awareness & Visibility Day

Sunday, 24 May 2026

Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day is celebrated annually on May 24th to increase understanding, visibility, and support for individuals attracted to people regardless of gender. It promotes education on pansexual identities, combats misconceptions, and celebrates the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.

Pansexuality refers to sexual and/or romantic attraction to people regardless of their gender or sex, often described as being attracted to someone based on personality rather than gender. While pansexuality is similar to bisexuality, it is often defined as attraction to all genders (or regardless of gender), whereas bisexuality is attraction to more than one gender.
